Arturia has recreated this highly revered hit maker in partnership with original programmer Cameron Jones, delivering the immense rich textures and creative palette of this vintage instrument, while dramatically improving it to let you blaze new musical trails today with sounds never heard before.

The unique sound of the Synclavier V comes from its blend of additive and FM synthesis, with control over 24 additive harmonics on both the carrier and modulation oscillators. Where the original instrument let you mix four uniquely programmed Partials Timbres in a Timbre preset, Arturia's recreation has twelve, boosting your creative possibilities exponentially. The Time Slice engine allows complex evolutions of the sound over time—even several minutes if you want.
Programming the Synclavier V is a study in elegance. Three different interface views let you choose the depth of control that best suits your needs.

Timeline improvements, including doubling frames from 50 to 100; added global frame speed offset;
a new frame tuning parameter; new loop mode; frames can now be synced to host BPM grid; the ability
to move only one frame on the timeline by Shift + Drag; and refined Solo/Copy/Paste/Delete timeline
workflow.
Modulation tab improvements, including the addition of Vibrato and Stereo LFO; and Amp
and Harmonic envelopes added as modulation sources.
Keyboard dynamics improvements.
Ability to choose Keyboard, Velocity or Mod Wheel as input sources.
New copy/paste modes: only one selected tab or all tabs.
Cosmetics improvements, including LFOs in screen view, envelopes global offsets, tabs order,

Harmonic phase histograms are now displayed in degrees (-179°/+180°).
Additional template presets with a HQ Simple Sine.
Presets revamped with volume leveling and assignation of mod wheel and sustain pedal.
All former settings page parameters are now stored in presets.
BUGFIXES:
– Saving an user preset after changing its name now correctly updates it
instead of creating a new one
– Harmonic phases on carrier and modulator don't randomly change
anymore when set at maximum values
